Kraftwerk nominated for Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame

Kraftwerk are among this year’s nominations for the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.

The 2017 batch of nominees were revealed this week, and the winners will be announced in December. As usual, the induction ceremony, taking place next April in New York, will be broadcast on HBO. This isn’t the first time the German group have been nominated: they were shortlisted in 2015, 2013 and 2003, but have failed to make the cut each time. Along with big rock bands like Pearl Jam, Yes and The Cars, Kraftwerk were nominated alongside other artists who have been influential on dance music, such as Chic, Depeche Mode and Chaka Khan.
