It has been rumoured that Timberlake is making a country album with Timbaland
Justin Timberlake has uploaded a photo of himself in the studio with Pharrell Williams, along with the caption “Currently”.
Timberlake released his latest album ‘The 20/20 Experience’ in 2013, his first record in seven years.
Timberlake previously worked with Pharrell on 2002’s ‘Like I Love You’ and ‘Senorita’, as well as 2014’s ‘Brand New’.
Timberlake also recently posted pictures of himself recording with Timbaland to mark the producer’s birthday.
Timbaland previously hinted that he is planning to record a country album with Justin Timberlake.
The hip-hop producer said he was considering heading into the studio with the singer, in an interview with TMZ, following Timberlake’s performance of ‘Drink You Away’ with country singer Chris Stapleton at the CMA Awards.
“It’s (‘Drink You Away’) is now starting to be one of the biggest songs,” he told the showbiz website before he suggested that the pair could record a country album. “Now that you put it out there, why not?,” he added.
“We are country. He’s from Tennessee, I’m from Virginia. It’s only right that we try to tap into what we was raised in.”
