It’s not exactly clear why we’re getting two brand new Pusha T tracks in two days, but we’re not complaining! Especially when the track is the star-studded “Coming Home.”
Featuring Lauryn Hill and produced by Kanye West, “Coming Home” discusses mass incarceration and the addictions that capitalism enables. Hearing Lauryn over an actual hip-hop beat is the best she’s sounded in a decade. Kanye also taps into his minimalist soul-centric early-aughts production for his best showing in a long time as well.
No word yet on if Pusha is preparing to drop an album, but giving his Twitter comments about “making a masterpiece,” we’re optimistic one is on the way!
