1.) GIRLSCHOOL
GIRLSCHOOL is a Los Angeles-based women-led music festival, online platform, and collective that celebrates and connects women-identified artists, leaders, and voices.
2017 She Rocks Awards recipient Shirley Manson of Garbage speaking at a GIRLSCHOOL workshop.
Originally founded by Anna Bulbrook (the Bulls | the Airborne Toxic Event | Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros) in response to how few women she saw onstage in the alternative rock world, GIRLSCHOOL has grown into a vibrant volunteer network of women in music who connect to create an empowering community for one another while supporting women and girls. A portion of the proceeds from every GIRLSCHOOL event benefits a girl-positive organization.
The festival also includes two afternoons of talks, workshops, and panel discussions.

2.) Women In Music
Women In Music is a non-profit organization with a mission to advance the awareness, equality, diversity, heritage, opportunities, and cultural aspects of women in the musical arts through education, support, empowerment, and recognition.

Don’t worry Canada: female empowerment and rocking girl power collectives aren’t restricted by the border! Women In Music Canada offers a wide range of opportunities for females working in the music industry.
Women In Music Canada not only provides performance opportunities, hosts panels, and puts on workshops; they also work with organizations in the Canadian music industry to make sure equality within the community is a high priority.

SoundGirls.Org works to empower women and girls to enter the world of professional audio and music production by providing support, community, career development, workshops, and tools.
The organization was formed by 2017 She Rocks Awards recipient Karrie Keyes (Pearl Jam) and live sound veteran Michelle Sabolchick Pettinato.
