Let’s be real — not everybody can call themselves the “ATL R&B princess” and actually back it up… but Ayanis? She’s walking the talk. Her new EP “It Gurl” (dropped July 18, 2025) is pure southern-flavored R&B magic — flirty, bold, and dripping with that “I know who I am” energy.
🎤The Sound
This ain’t background music — this is “I’m walking in the room and I own it” music. Ayanis takes those early-2000s R&B vibes we grew up on and flips them with a fresh ATL twist. The vocals? Smooth but with a bite. The beats? Clean, dance-ready, and addictive.
🔥 The Highlights
- “Pilates” feat. Soulja Boy – Straight-up addictive. Soulja’s feature is playful, and the hook will stay in your head all day.
- “Crash Out” – This one feels like riding through the city at night with the bass up and zero cares.
- “Throw It” – Pure fun. This is the one you play when you’re getting ready to go out.
💬 What She’s Saying
Ayanis isn’t just making songs — she’s setting the tone. Lyrically, she’s all about confidence, feminine power, and living unapologetically. There’s ATL flavor all over this project, and that’s exactly what makes it stand out.
📣 The Word on the Streets
Fans are vibing heavy with it — early ratings are sitting at 3.25/5 on Musicboard, and the love for her “throwback but modern” sound is real. People who’ve been following since “Yani” and her collabs with Mulatto and Wiz Khalifa can hear the growth. She’s leveling up.
💎 My Take
“It Gurl” is more than just an EP — it’s Ayanis planting her flag in the game. She’s telling you exactly who she is, and you either get on board or get left behind.
So if you’re looking for something fresh to add to your playlist — something with real personality, hooks for days, and that ATL sparkle — stop sleeping.
